This note serves as a letter of recommendation for Danielle Tremblay whom I have known as the Publicity Manager at Toronto's Citytv. Over the past few years, Variety has run a number of stories about Citytv. Most of those stories happened because Danielle understood what Variety needed. Danielle's enthusiasm and professionalism made it easy for Variety to profile Citytv in a major page-one story. She even convinced me to visit the station myself. Like most editors, I receive dozens of well-meaning phone calls from publicists every day, only some of which time allows me to take. I must say that I always found time for Danielle's calls because she usually had a good story for us. And if that isn't a good recommendation, I don't know what is.
